We Believe...

God: there is only one true God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-eternal and co-equal from all eternity, each with distinct functions but of one essence. God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient.
(Deut 6:4, Matt 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14, Col 1:16, 1 Pet 1:2, 1 John 5:7)

Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, is the eternal Son of God who entered into the world through the virgin birth, lived among us without sin as perfect Man and perfect God, thus fulfilling the prophecy spoken by Isaiah.
(Prov 8:22-31, Is 7:14; Matt 1:22-23; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1-14)

Holy Spirit: the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, convicts the sinner; regenerates, sanctifies, guides, empowers and indwells the believer.
(John 14:16 and 26, John 16:7-8 and 13, Acts 1:8)

The Fullness of the Holy Spirit: a Christian receives the fulness of the Holy Spirit at the time of salvation. The believer is to walk in a lifestyle that promotes sanctification and, thus, empowerment of the Holy Spirit for effective service.
(Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8; 2:1-4, 2:38-39; 8:14-17; 10:44-47; 11:15-17; 19:1-7; Eph 5:18;)

Spiritual Gifts: the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, and that the ministering gifts of the Holy Spirit, for the edification of the church body, continue to operate throughout the church age.
(Acts 1:8; 2:16-17; 5:12-16; Rom 12:4-9; 1 Cor 12:7-14; 12:27-31; James 5:16)

The Fall of Man: that because Adam fell by voluntary transgression (sinned), the whole human race is inherently sinful by nature and in conduct, and is separated from God in this life and in eternity. It is impossible for any man to justify himself before a perfect God and without redemption, man is condemned to suffer eternal punishment in the lake of fire (Hell).
(Is 64:5-7, Rom 3:10-11 and 23, Rom 6:23, Rev 20:10 and 15, Rev 21:8)

Redemption: Jesus Christ's death and the shedding of His blood on the cross at Calvary is the only provision for man's sin. It is through His blood that one is forgiven and receives the promise of eternal life in heaven. This is accomplished by repenting of all sin and believing that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Salvation is accomplished purely by Gods grace through ones' faith, not by ones' good deeds.
(Mark 16:16; John 14:6, Acts 4:12, 1 Cor 11:23-26; Eph 2:8-9).

The Resurrection: in the physical resurrection, ascension and glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He is now seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.
(John 20, Acts 1:9-11, 2:22-24, 31 and 36, Eph 1:20-23, Heb 12:2)

Scripture: the 66 books of the Bible are the written Word of God, divinely inspired and inerrant throughout. Its assertions are factually true in all the original manuscripts. The Bible is the only basis of true doctrine and constitutes the supreme authority, not only for faith, ministry and conduct, but also in such fields as history and science.
(2 Tim 3:16, 1 Pet 1:24-25, 2 Pet 1:20-21, Heb 4:12)

Water Baptism: in baptizing all believers by full immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit into Jesus Christ. Baptism, a public and symbolic declaration of ones faith in Christ, is a step of obedience to the Lords commands and is subsequent to salvation.
(Matt 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 8:37-38, 10:47-48, Rom 6:4)

The Lord's Supper: in the partaking together of Communion by believers only as a remembrance of Christ's death for man's sin. The bread symbolises Christ's body, and the cup, the shedding of His blood, which is the New Covenant. (1 Cor 11:23-30)

Creation: in a literal six-day creation as described in Genesis, and that Adam was created as a sinless man, formed out of the dust of the earth in the image of God and did not evolve. (Gen 1, Prov 8:22-31, Acts 17:24-26, Col 1:16)

The Church: in the institution of the church, the body of Christ, whose head is the Lord Jesus Christ and that believers are admonished to assemble together regularly in corporate worship. Each believer is an integral part of corporate worship and of the body of Christ. (1 Cor 12, Eph 2:19-22, 4:15-16, 5:23, Col 1:18, Heb 10:25, 12:23)

The Church: the Church is admonished to continue preaching the message of Jesus Christ with the purpose of training and equipping believers to:
a. Glorify God
b. Evangelise the lost & make disciples
c. Edify and equip believers for the work of the ministry.
(Matt 28:19, Eph 4:11-13, Col 1:27-29)

The Rapture: in Christ's personal coming for His church - a literal gathering together of the saints. At which time, those who are dead in Christ and those who are alive and remain in Him will be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and be with Him forever.
(1 Thess 4:16-17)

Christ's Return and Reign: in Christ's pre-millennial return, in the same way as His ascension, at which time He will establish his millennial Kingdom on earth.
(Acts 1:11; Rev 20:1-7, Zech 14:4)
